Eucalypt Australia is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of those who apply for our grants, come to our events and enter our competitions.

Eucalypt Australia collects and administers personal information for employment purposes, grant-making, and running events, including competitions.  

The organisation is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information it collects, holds and administers. 

Eucalypt Australia recognises the essential right of individuals to have their information administered in ways they would reasonably expect—protected on the one hand and made accessible to them on the other.  

Eucalypt Australia is bound by laws that impose specific obligations regarding handling information. 

The organisation has adopted the following principles as minimum standards for handling personal information: 

Eucalypt Australia will

  • Collect only information that the organisation requires for its primary functions;
  • Ensure that stakeholders are informed as to why we collect the information and how we administer the information gathered;
  • Use and disclose personal information only for our primary functions or a directly related purpose or for another purpose with the person’s consent;
  • Store personal information securely, protecting it from unauthorised access; and
  • Provide stakeholders with access to their information on request and the right to seek its correction.
