Pine Rivers Koala Care Habitat Generation (Qld)

We have a number of sites where we undertake planting and regular habitat weeding in our area of the City of Moreton Bay. Concentrating on some of the koala corridors to ensure connectivity and maintenance of these habitat areas that are so important to our endangered species the koala, as suburbia and roading removes established eucalyptus trees, we need to replace their food trees for future generations to survive. Our website calendar lists dates and locations for people to come along and help, many hands make light work!! As the dates vary, we’d love you to keep an eye on our calendar and even join our association as a habitat volunteer. For the purpose of National Eucalypt Day we are having a planting and weeding on Sunday15th March. Depending on weather times and location may change.
