Join us at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary as we celebrate National Eucalypt Day with a day dedicated to nature, conservation, and the incredible role of eucalypts in sustaining our environment. Set within our lush 27-hectare sanctuary, this event will highlight the connection between eucalypts, wildlife, and our community.

What’s On?
Up-close Wildlife Encounters – Discover how koalas, gliders, and other native species rely on eucalypts for food and shelter.

Storytelling & Kids’ Activities – Enjoy interactive storytelling, face painting, and craft activities inspired by the beauty of eucalypts.

Conservation Talks – Hear from experts about the critical role of eucalypts in habitat preservation, regenerative agriculture, and climate resilience.

Eucalypt Discovery Stations – Learn about different eucalypt species, their uses, and their significance in Indigenous culture and Australian history.

Visit Currumbin Wildlife Hospital – Witness firsthand the impact of habitat loss and the vital conservation work being done to protect wildlife.
