DESCRIPTION:Join the Friends of Inglewood Triangle for a morning ‘among the gum trees’ of Inglewood Triangle bushland reserve for a special photography workshop to mark National Eucalypt Day! \nGuided by award-winning local photographer Josh Wells\, you’ll learn how to make the most of your smartphone camera to capture the beauty and details of Inglewood Triangle’s five eucalypt species\, including WA’s own Eucalyptus marginata (Jarrah). \nJosh will provide hands-on guidance on how to: \n• look for good light\n• adapt phone settings for the highest quality image\n• frame a photograph using the best angles for phone cameras\n• edit images using your phone. \nBefore we start snapping\, bushland conservation volunteer and long time Friend of Inglewood Triangle\, Christine Richardson\, will introduce us to the unique features\, fun facts\, and some Noongar uses of these remarkable trees. \nWe’ll then go behind the fences to explore two different sites in the reserve that feature our eucalypt species – and put our new photography skills into practice. \nAfter the walk\, we’d love you to send us your favourite photo to be featured on the Inglewood Triangle website and Inglewood socials. \n📅 Date: Sunday\, 23rd March\n⏰ Time: 9:15 – 11:00 AM (Please arrive at 9.15am to register)\n📍 Location: Inglewood Triangle Welcome Shelter on Eighth Avenue\n👟 What to bring: Your charged smartphone\, long pants\, closed-in shoes\, sun protection\, and a water bottle\n🪙 Cost: $10 \nThis small-group event is part of the Behind the Fence series offered by the Friends of Inglewood Triangle\, providing rare access beyond the public trails. \nTo help protect the bushland and to ensure you get the most from the photography guidance\, numbers are limited to 15 participants. \nNational Eucalypt Day\, held annually on 23 March since 2014\, aims to raise awareness of eucalypts and celebrate the important place they hold in the hearts and lives of Australians. \nJoin us behind the fence – book your spot today! \nhttps://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/eucalypts-in-focus-an-inglewood-triangle-photography-workshop-wa-tickets-1256196380189?aff=oddtdtcreator
